Attorney at law Valentin Pepeljugoski Ph.D from our Macedonian member Law firm Pepeljugoski participated in the public session at the Constitutional Court regarding the current amendments to the Law on Audio and Audiovisual Media Services, which require responsibility of domestic cable operators in case foreign television channels broadcasts without regulated copyrights with third parties. Recognized as an expert in the field of copyrights, Mr. Pepeljugoski explained that cable operators could not change the content of the television channels, they only retransmit them and can have neither control nor responsibility over, whether copyright is regulated for all individual programs created and broadcast by television stations.
